American Wedding in Prague

Although both are American, Prague has always been more than just a destination for Elizabeth. She was born and raised here, speaks fluent Czech, and spent her childhood walking the same streets where she later got married. Choosing Prague for their wedding felt natural – like returning to a place that already belonged to their story.

They met in France during their studies, built their life across borders, and eventually decided to get married in the city that shaped Elizabeth’s early years. Prague became the perfect setting for an intimate wedding focused on meaning rather than scale.

The ceremony took place at the Old Town Hall, one of the most iconic and historically rich wedding venues in Prague. With only a small group of close family and friends present, the atmosphere was calm, elegant and emotional.

After the ceremony, we spent time alone with Elizabeth and Avery, walking through the historic center of Prague. This is one of the greatest advantages of an elopement wedding in Prague – the freedom to slow down and truly experience the city together.

We created relaxed Old Town wedding photos around Charles Bridge, along the river near the National Theatre, and around the modern architecture of Nová scéna. The walk was unplanned and unhurried, allowing for natural interactions, laughter and quiet moments.

Rather than focusing on posed portraits, the photography followed the rhythm of the city and the couple’s connection, resulting in timeless Prague elopement photography that feels honest and personal.
