Prague is a city where history and romance intertwine, and for international couples it is increasingly becoming the ideal place for their wedding day. One such example was the wedding of Elena from sunny Spain and Aco, a Serb born in Bosnia. Their celebration of love at Vila Lanna brought together two cultures, two nations and two different concepts of passion in one unforgettable encounter. In such settings, my job as a wedding photographer was too easy!
Vila Lanna: A scene like from a fairy tale
Vila Lanna, which is located near the center of Prague, is a perfect place for an event such as a wedding. Its historic elegance and charm created the perfect backdrop for a sophisticated ceremony as well as a spectacular party. Inside, there was a mix of vibrant decorations in gold and white – symbolic references to Spanish passion and Balkan pride.
Emotive wedding ceremony: A joy for a Prague wedding photographer
The wedding ceremony took place in the historic hall of the villa. Elena chose a dress that resembled Spanish flamenco elegance. Aco was waiting for her in an elegant dark blue suit. The guests exchanged tears of emotion and laughter as the witnesses recalled their shared experiences with the newlyweds. The Spanish "Olé" and the Balkan "Ziveli!" alternated, with both nations injecting their signature energy into the celebrations. What a joy for a Prague wedding photographer!
A wedding party that no one will forget
After the ceremony, the celebration moved to the magical garden of the vila. At the same time, guests got to know each other and overcome language barriers with a glass of wine in hand - either Spanish rioji or homemade Balkan rakija. Music has become a real bridge between cultures. Serbian folk songs alternated with Spanish world-famous hits, and the dance floor became a place where energetic Balkan round dances met graceful flamenco steps.
A celebration of love without borders
Elena and Aco's wedding was more than just a celebration of their love. It was a celebration of unity and friendship between two nations that are each vibrant in their own way. It was a demonstration of how love can overcome cultural differences and create something truly special.
Prague, Vila Lanna and their wedding day will forever be a reminder that beauty and harmony can arise from diversity. And that when the Spanish "te quiero" meets the Balkan "volim te," something magical is created.
